Celebrating 25 years of making ice cream

Back in the Spring of 1993 we’d borrowed and spent a lot of money on converting an old barn and buying some ice cream production equipment in the belief that this is what the world had been waiting for, yes, we were ready to launch our fantastic ice cream on the good people of North Wales!

The one thing you forget in the excitement of it all is that you can have the best product in the world, but you still need someone to buy it! Spending the money was the easy bit, the hard bit was yet to come.

We estimate that it took at least 5 years before we actually started making any money, but fortunately 25 years later we are still here, still making fantastic ice cream and still with many of our original customers who helped us on our way.

We thank everyone who has helped us on our journey, and here’s to the next 25 years.
